Founder

On the leadership team that built a business from a basement, scaled it across states, sold to private equity, then sold to a national platform.

Hundreds of millions of dollars of acquisitions led from the buyer's chair. Rod later led acquisitions at national scale, working with private equity firms, strategic acquirers, founders and M&A professionals across the country — and learned to evaluate businesses not only as a seller, but as a sophisticated buyer.

He understands the weight of selling something that took decades to build, and he understands what happens on the other side of the table, where buyers scrutinize valuation, recurring revenue, customer concentration, management depth, margins, risk, deal structure, rollover equity and transition terms. Rod doesn't advise business owners from a textbook — he lived the process himself.

Today that experience is used for both sides: helping owners prepare and position their companies, and helping qualified buyers evaluate opportunities that are realistic and executable.

Team

Working alongside Rod, Jackson handles the work that turns a conversation into a completed transaction: financial analysis and valuation, confidential marketing materials, buyer research and outreach, and day to day management of each engagement from the first meeting through closing.

He helped build Fairway Partners from the ground up, including the valuation models used in every engagement and the systems that keep each process organized and confidential. Owners have a direct line of contact to him throughout the process, and buyers get a prepared, responsive point of contact rather than a form and a wait.

Jackson holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Crown College and currently lives in Rapid City, South Dakota.
